Christopher Colombus is a murderer. When he landed in Haiti he directly killed 1500 Arawak indians. He justified the killings with the bible, which to me, ironically a religious humanist, is unacceptable. He cut of their hands and noses to make examples out of the ones who fought slavery. he d their daughters causing them to throw sand into their 's as means of desperation. Last year i was junior, my native american friend, who i am very close to, began crying and screaming when he was fed the censored b.s. vomited at us from our history textbooks. The things he said rattled everyone, and i felt his frustration, and immediately recognized that every minority had been d due to the gates his actions opened. Esspecially mine.
