Remington 597 in 17 HMR. Does anyone own one? Your Thoughts?

I purchased the Synthetic version chambered in .22LR a few years ago as well. Within a month I had buyer's regret since the thing jammed all the time no matter how well I cleaned it or what type of ammo I shot through it. I did not know about the recall program so I ended up selling mine at a garage sale for $50 less then I paid for it new.
