My Mum broke her elbow like 4 weeks ago and, I need advice! please help.?

Well she had to stay in the hospital and have elbow surgery and what not, and she got loads of medication from the hospital, so that's all okay. she was wearing a cast for a while and now her surgeon took it off, and she has to TRY to move her arm, so it aint stuck forever! aand, shes in alot of pain. what can i do ?
