Why was my answer deleted?

The question was "Why is there so much crime in Trinidad? The details were about how the person who asked the question thinks they could be on TV if they could come up with a solution. My response was "You couldn't be on TV if you told the truth because, no one wants to hear the truth. I'll give you a hint, it's awfully dark in Trinidad." My response was an obvious reference to the skin color of the residents of Trinidad, the answer after mine was "Because there are so many black people" and their source was cited as "KKK". That answer is still up. I contend that it is not racist to state the truth. Black people make up 13% of the population of the U.S. yet they make up 40% of the prison population. In Trinidad blacks make up 38%, hence a higher crime rate. These statistics are the same world wide. The countries with more blacks have higher rates of crime. The only places where that may not true, are the places that don't report their statistics, but you can only ume that it is still true, based on the rest of the results in other countries. So I ask Isn't Yahoo answers about facts and answering questions truthfully? Is it against the rules to answer a question with a truthful answer, even if someone doesn't like it? Should I be silenced for pointing out unpleasant statistics?
