Why do maggots and juggalos fight over who is better, ICP or Slipknot?

I am a pretty big fan of Slipknot, but i prefer their music over ICP. But it doesn't mean that ICP completely sucks. I like the beats, but not much the lyrics. My maggot fans hate ICP and my juggalo friends get mad at me...why? In the end, its all just music, right? Just different genres. I'm pretty sure this whole comparison started because of the fans, not the band themselves. Opinions?
